Peter Ellqvist, future President of Kiev Golf Club, who comes into the office in the next season, gave an interview to Swedish website Golf.se before his departure to Ukraine. It is one of the most frequented golf websites of Europe that connects several hundred thousand readers.

In the interview Peter Ellqvist tells about GolfStream Project, shares his impressions about state and trends of golf development in Ukraine and about his professional plans. His interview is on the front page of that extra-popular website for a week already. The news on arrival of a new Club President to Kiev is also in the first lines of news section on Golf.se.

“Golf is not a public sport. A few people know about it in Ukraine”, told Peter Ellqvist in the interview. Nevertheless, he sees no risk in his future work in Ukraine because the Project began seriously and an international team of reputable experts is responsible for results. The team includes David Duke — Head Golf Consultant to the Project, Morten Norraguard — Head Consultant and Manager of Golf Course Development, Tony Westwood — Golf-PRO of the Club and Peter Chamberlain, Head Architect of Golf Courses, who invited Peter Ellqvist to Kiev.

Introducing and describing the Project, Peter Ellqvist also mentioned that there is a plan to host Challenge Tour in 2011 on the future Chamberlain Course for 18 holes and European Tour in the next 2012.
