The Club's cooperation with major industry organizations continues.                 

Back in November last year, as we reported in one of the materials (reference), Kiev Golf Club was adopted to European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA). Since then not much time has passed but the next important step was made – we joined a global network for experience and information exchange on development of golf-industry: National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA).

The Association brings together similar organizations of the regional level (including the European). Objectives are the same: to enable representatives of golf clubs around the world to solve together pressing issues faced by the industry. NGCOA is a recognized leading information resource for all who work in this area, both producers and users of equipment, technology developers, managers, builders of golf facilities. There are truly priceless opportunities for the Club in connection with the entry into

EGCOA and NGCOA. The Association provides its members with participation in seminars and conferences at various levels (from local to global), in targeted training programs, researches, and access to information resources, including the global network of forums and mailings Association (NGCOA Listserv and email community), to media materials, archives, conferences etc. In addition, NGCOA publishes guidebooks, training manuals, books and «Golf Business» magazine, circulated among the members. The Club will introduce the most interesting and relevant materials and publications to readers of our site!

As world practice shows, a quick, wise and timely decision is the best and most desired revenue. This is the slogan of the Association: «Profitability and success of your business hinge on making the right decisions; and making the right decisions means making informed decisions».

Additional benefits of membership provided to the Association members include complimentary access to PGA trade show, where one can represent own products and get acquainted with novelties. Also, we would like to mention a possibility of free admission to tournaments of PGA Championship and PGA Senior Championship! Using a special discount, members can also visit «Pantheon» of Golf – World Hall of Fame, located in Florida, USA. This grand building is the world's largest museum of golf history. The Hall of Fame was founded in 1974, and since 1983 it is managed by PGA of America. Separate sections in the Hall are devoted to important issues of golf industry development, to golf course construction as well as (the newest line) to ecological concerns in course management.

Kiev Golf Club is a member of NGCOA since January 2009. At the moment NGCOA brings together owners of more than 7 thousand golf courses around the world and its contact database has more than 18 thousand respondents.
