A meeting between Ambassador of Sweden, Mr. Stefan Gullgren, and President of Kiev Golf Club & Diplomat Club, Mr. Peter Ellqvist, took place at the Embassy of Sweden on Thursday, January 29, 2009.

They discussed issues of cooperation, different golf activities and potentials of Kiev Golf Club. After this first meeting new meetings will be held to improve agreements.

The Ambassador is a golfer and is likely to show up in Kiev Golf Club if he manages to find time in his busy calendar.

Usually, a meeting with a diplomatic corps representative is an extraordinary event for a non-government organization. Kiev Golf Club & Diplomat Club plan to work further in this area.
